Rollie and Sandi have three adult children and 4 grandchildren (along with two dogs and two grand-dogs). Rollie graduated from Moody Bible Institute and Western Conservative Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Harvest, Rollie served as Worship Pastor in Tucson, AZ, Executive Director for Moody Alumni Association, and Executive Director for the Christian Youth Center (Joliet).
Where did you grow up & what are some of your favorite things about those years?
Rollie: I grew up in Joliet, IL … so I really enjoyed going to Starved Rock and Chicago. The best of both worlds – beautiful outdoor hiking and a fun city for adventures! I also really loved (and still do) the Cubs and Wrigley Field.
What is your favorite food?
Rollie: A good Chicago Hot Dog … and I will stop at almost any hot dog stand, just to try their dogs.
What music, band or group do you enjoy?
Rollie: I enjoy different artists for different reasons … Sara Groves for her lyrics and heart; Kings Singers for great harmony; James Taylor, a master story teller; and Phil Keagy for his amazing guitar skills.
What does your time with the Lord look like on a daily basis? A recent book you’ve read?
Rollie: I spend time in the morning at the dining room table, reading my Bible, the devotional book Valley of Vision, an A.W. Tozer book and journal.
Any thing else we might like to know?
Rollie: I am a HUGE CUBS fan. Sandi & I love any dog – but especially our Timber & Sydney.
