FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS …
Where do I park? GUEST PARKING is available. Please let the parking attendants know you are visiting and they will assist you to the parking spaces. Handicap parking is available at the Douglas Road entrance and to the south of the building along Plainfield Rd.
What should I look for when I come in? When you come in the main entrance, please stop at Guest Information for help and directions regarding children’s classes, worship services or adult classes. Various church staff and lay leadership will be on hand to meet and greet you as well.
We understand that families like to stay together when first visiting a church. Just remember that we have childcare for birth – 2 years old, and classes for every age beyond. All of our children’s volunteers have been screened and background checks done.
What is the style of worship of music at Harvest? At Harvest, we consider our worship to be blended. We sing contemporary new songs and traditional older hymns. The piano, keyboard, guitars and percussion are also used to enhance the worship music. Our worship pastor leads along with a worship team and occasionally an orchestra and choir. Our desire is to focus on God and give Him our praise and worship!
What do people wear at Harvest to Sunday service? Clothes! Come as you are! Some dress casual and some dress up – God looks at the heart not your clothes.
What version of the Bible is used? Pastor Scott preaches from the New American Standard Version.
What is all the construction about? On Sunday, June 29, 2014, we will transition into new Sunday service times, a larger sanctuary, a new foyer, cafe, reception area and more parking. To find out more, follow this link.
